Dear Lucy,
It’s hard to believe you’re four months old already. Every time I look at you, I wonder how we got so lucky to be your parents. You have become so much more fun. You now laugh and giggle all the time. You love it when Daddy blows raspberries on your belly and neck, and you laugh even before he does so out of anticipation. You’re such a happy baby — when you get your naps in, that is.

You talk a lot now, and your talking has turned into a screech that reminds us of a pterodactyl, which is now our new nickname for you. It cracks us up. You have such good neck control and can really lift your head up well. And, you stick EVERYTHING in your mouth — your fingers, your taggie, your rattles, your bibs and burp cloths … everything.

I get a little sad that you’re growing up so fast, but I can’t wait to see what the next few months have in store for us.
