i know it’s not breaking news now, but i’m still shocked about heath ledger’s death yesterday. a medical examiner who performed his autopsy says the results are inconlusive, but authorities think he may have overdosed on pills that were found near him. the associated press is reporting that ledger said his role as the joker in “the dark night” disturbed him and that he got a prescription for sleeping pills to help him fall asleep at night. maybe he was trying to sleep and took too many. i guess we’ll know in 10 days.

I know, how sad! And he was such a talented actor. Pretty creepy that he was feeling disturbed about his movie role.
I am absolutely crushed about this. He wasn’t like most actors, and I always respected him for leading his life mostly out of the glitz of hollyweird. Plus he was so amazingly good looking. *sigh* I still cannot believe this. So, so sad. 🙁
I had heard they found Ambien and OTC sleep aids. Incidentally, as confirmed by my MIL (a nurse), the OTC’s are likely what killed him. Apparently, the toxicity of OTC’s is far greater than prescription pills. Go figure. Totally tragic.
It’s really sad. I feel for his daughter who never really got to know her dad.
I found myself feeling sad about his death….didn’t know him or anything but he was a talented guy. It really is too bad.
