I had such a wonderful Mother’s Day. It all started with Joe taking Lucy to McDonald’s when she woke up so I could sleep in. They came home around 9 a.m. and brought donuts for breakfast. Yum! My wonderful little family gave me some great gifts — Lucy got me a book for us to read together, and Joe got me a little girl charm for my Pandora bracelet.

After a nap for Lucy and Joe (and some relaxing “me” time), we headed out to lunch at Armando’s, one of our favorite restaurants, and then took Lucy to the park. We went to a little pocket park that we’ve never taken her to before, and she had a blast!

And, no Mother’s Day would be complete without a big hug and kiss from my sweet girl. Yes, she gives open-mouthed kisses. They’re the best.

After returning home, we relaxed the rest of the evening. Such a wonderful day.
