joe is opening one of his hanukkah presents tonight. we have a plan worked out where we each open one present on each holiday so neither of us has to open presents alone. i love it. joe’s getting his “big” present tonight, and i can’t *wait* to give it to him. he’s going to love it, and i’ve been so excited about it.

i love giving gifts much more than receiving them. sure, it’s nice to get things, but i just love watching people open what i gave them and seeing the expressions on their faces. it’s just so much fun! i always want my family to open my presents first on christmas eve. hehe.
