As I think about the fact that as a freelancer I will HAVE to complete a certain number of stories a week to maintain the income I currently bring in, it stresses me out.
Really, it only amounts to 9 stories a week, which really isn’t much when you get down to writing. I can knock out a 400-word story pretty quick. It’s thinking about getting all my interviews lined up and done in time for my stories to be published when they need to be. Like I said in my previous post, I’m sure things will be different once I start freelancing full time, but right now, it stresses me out.
It all comes down to making sure I’m super organized, something I’m really good at, and making sure I’m working a week ahead. Hopefully, if I start that now, it will only get easier once I quit my full time job.
I’ll probably still be stressed out, though, until I see that everything will work out. I guess that’s normal, though.
