It’s the time of year when I start working on my Christmas and Hanukkah cards. I really wanted to get started much earlier than now, especially since I have other orders to work on as well, but I couldn’t decide exactly what I wanted to do for the design, and that put me quite a bit behind. But, last night I finalized what I’m going to do, and I got a template done today. I think they’re going to look cute. I was hoping for something that would be a little less time consuming than last year’s, and I think this might be. There are fewer pieces to put together, but they’re going to be super cute!

I love making my own cards, but I kind of miss the Christmas photo cards that Joe and I did during our first year of marriage. It was a lot of fun, and the cards were super easy to do (well, except for the whole posing with three cats thing). For some reason, I didn’t order those that year from VistaPrint. I order pretty much everything from there, including the photo calendars I’m making this year for our grandparents, because their prices are really good. And, the quality is top notch. I made a photo calendar for us last year, and I’m planning on doing one for 2009 as well.
